The story is actually quite mysterious (albeit confusing at times...) and has yet to really contradict itself plot-wise. It has many interesting characters and the games play out like an action/adventure/RPG. The voice acting and facial expressions are something that the other Megaman series should pick up on and take to heart. The in-game sequences pull you into the game w/o feeling like they're awkward and out of place.
All I can hope for is a Megaman Legends 3 to hope that all the unanswered questions that Legends 2 left be answered once and for all...

When ML2 first came out, the games stores in Arkansas had it for a week and never sold them again.

So why care for these...petty obsession? Your designer heart still beats with common blood.
And what if you could have genetic perfection? Would you change who you are if you could?

You also thought I was Good right..
Then why am I still going to Hell?
But I want to be a Destroyer that saves..
Personally, I think the market is ready for a Legends game. What with all the shooters and adventure games becoming popular, you'd think people would welcome a game that belongs to both genres!

see, Keiji Inafune's been building up the series for years so that he could continue Legends, which he has on many occasions stated as his favorite one of them all. Had he continued the Legends series with a third game, he would have had to create a past timeline that explained the creation of Elysium and the Mother system, which would have all been new and confusing. However, by building up to it with his other series, he can establish a timeline, and then flash back to it without spending an entire game to explain. It's also a good marketing strategy because to understand Legends 3, you will have needed to buy his other games. However, this doesn't include the Battle Network/Starforce timeline because they are an alternate reality to the originial series.
Also, I've spoken to the person that moderates the club about this, but if anybody has any questions or wishes to elaborate, please note me so that we can talk about it and create a more solid theory.

Allow your eyes to open, revealing neither the lighter nor the darker truths of the world, but the twisting, twilit path in which your actions and decisions will lead you down.

Happiness in stories is at most only a couple of lines at the end. The epitome of boredom. Now, show me a magnificent tragedy! A cataclysm of tears from which not one of the players is saved, and to which a happy ending never comes!
